Seaming 101

Learn the techniques for invisible seaming. This skill-building class will teach you how to seam your knitted pieces together seamlessly. :) Class size is limited in order to give individual attention, so sign up early! Homework is required.

  • Homework:
  • Make 6 swatches each approximately 3" x 3"
  • On each swatch, CO 16 sts. End each swatch after working a purl row.
  • Work 2 swatches in St st. slipping the 1st st of every row as if to purl with yarn in front. Bind off sts.
  • Work 2 swatches in St st. and leave on needles; cut tail about 3x the width of your swatch.
  • Work 2 swatches as follows: Row 1: Knit. Row 2: K4, P12. Repeat Rows 1 & 2 until you have 3". Bind off.
