Beginning Cables Hat

This is the perfect hat for the knitter who is looking to branch out into cables! We'll go over right and left cables as well as basic chart reading in this super fun class! The pattern is included in the cost of the class and will be provided on the first day. Homework is Required.

  • The pattern will be provided on the first day of class
  • 1 skein of DK weight yarn
  • US 6 (4.0 mm) 16" circular needles
  • US 7 (4.5 mm) 16" circular needles
  • US 7 (4.5 mm) dpns or preferred method for closing a hat
  • Knit picks wood cable needle set
  • Stitch markers
  • Tapestry needle
  • Homework:
  • With US 6 (4.0 mm) circular needle, cast on 118 sts, pm, join into the round, being careful not to twist your sts. *p1, k1; rep from * until the end of round. Work this round until the piece reaches approximately one inch.
