This asymmetrical mosaic shawl is an easy-to-wear shape that is fun and interesting to knit! During this class you'll learn mosaic knitting and chart reading, as well as how to carry colors up the the side. The pattern is included in the cost of the class and will be provided on the first day.
This shawl is designed for Jane Jacobs, a New York City community activist who led the charge to protect Washington Square Park from Robert Moses’s “urban renewal” project. Under his plan 5th Avenue would have been extended through the park, destroying the beloved space we know today.
